Here is a great example of people putting their heart into their work. Sophie Haynes, a Design for Industry student, has made a padded pillow like puppy for children in hospitals to hold. But, it is for much more than snuggling, by pressing in different areas on the puppy, children can record their moods, their pain levels, and even self administer pain medication. This is a huge step forward in getting children the proper medical care they need. Often children are unable to communicate their true feelings with adults, especially strangers, this helps them do just that. With this information, the doctors can more easily provide the top level of care that they deserve.
