Here is a link to a great article about food allergies and children. Annabel Karmel thinks that food allergies should be of concern to parents, but not to the point where it restricts the types of foods that children, even babies if over than six months, can experiment with. Broadening children’s horizons regarding the types of food out there is a good way to make sure that the child will not be a picky eater, and it is also a great way to establish a mindset in children that they should have no fear of trying a food they haven’t had before.
