Allergy Hero!

Baxter International, Inc. recently recalled all of its production of the blood thinning agent Halperin. There have been numerous cases of severe or even fatal allergic reactions occurring in patients who, although suffering from numerous ailments, have been treated with Halperin. No Halperin shortage will occur as another manufacturer is making up the difference with their supply. Baxter International, Inc should be commended for undertaking the great expense of this voluntary recall and let’s hope investigators find out what has been causing these reactions.
